The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island recently awarded a Community Grant to Bainbridge Performing Arts for administrative and box office computers, using money raised at the 2013 Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale.

COMMUNITY GRANTS

One third of the Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale net revenue is earmarked for Community Grants for non-profit organizations serving the Bainbridge Island community. The Community Grants fund the purchase of capital items which allow the non-profit organization to better serve the community.  Over the past four years alone, 48 different non-profit organizations have received grants totaling $379,685. The flowchart above depicts how funds that are raised at the auction feed back into the community.
