This class will introduce knowledge and skills specific to acting in a Shakespearean play. Covering such topics as language, diction, text, delivery and pace, the course delivers strategies actors need to confidently build characters. Students will develop an audition monologue and a scene study with one or more partners. Guest instructors from Seattle’s professional theatre community offer an opportunity to learn from some of the region’s most accomplished Shakespearean actors.
