The first work is likely the result of growing up with a famous horn player at home, his father, and the latter work was composed in 1909 for ceremonial events held by the Knights of St. John. Debussy’s beautiful masterpiece \u003cem\u003eL’aprés-midi d’un faune\u003c\/em\u003e and Wagner’s extract from \u003cem\u003eTristan und Isolde\u003c\/em\u003e will hold you spellbound with their innovative harmonies and rich orchestral tapestry. Bringing the season to a rousing conclusion is Gershwin’s jazzy \u003cem\u003ePiano Concerto \u003c\/em\u003ein F major.
