All proceeds go to HIV prevention and gender equality education in Kenya.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003ePlease join us for a hilarious family variety show brought to you by Project HAND UP one afternoon only at BPA. Comedian Darren Collins is a Native Washingtonian, born and raised in Port Angles, who has toured 45 states and 20 countries with his act. Kids and teens, adults and seniors will all enjoy his personable stand-up comedy act with juggling and magic!\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eDarren Collins and his co-founder, a Bainbridge Island native, formed Project HAND UP to help East Africans live healthy lives by providing culturally-appropriate HIV\/AIDS education and gender equality education through live puppet and magic shows. A puppet has a special “permission” to say things that might otherwise be controversial or embarrassing to an audience.
