Mr. Ricky Coates loves the life of a teaching artist!  He has been a professional actor for over twelve years, touring nationally and internationally with his art.  After working in Book-It Repertory Theatre's elementary outreach program, Book-It All Over, Mr. Ricky discovered a deep passion for teaching young ones.  He co-led the SP Nation summer camps for elementary children, and then, he signed on as a teacher for Sweet Pea's preschools.  Ricky is certified as a teaching artist from the 2011-12 Teaching Artist Training Lab sponsored by Seattle Repertory Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the Washington State Arts Commission.
